It was a blast to collaborate once again with the amazing team at BET—this time through the talented folks at Versus. For this year’s show, I was much more involved in the early stages, shaping a cohesive visual identity from the ground up. That included designing the new logo and typography, developing footage treatments, and even animating some of the final elements.

It had been a while since I’d gotten to really dive into type design, color exploration, and custom letterforms, so I thoroughly enjoyed the process. Plus, I had the chance to bring on some of my favorite collaborators—special thanks to Erin Kilkenny, Edwin Santacruz, and Dave Rogers.
