When Hewlett Packard Enterprise asked us to create an anthem film for their enterprise storage division, I proposed a loose narrative inspired by a high school friend of mine—now an astrophysicist at NASA’s JPL.

I built the montage around the idea of a multinational research project in which scientists share vast astronomical datasets across continents. The tone and themes were designed to echo the contemplative and cinematic qualities of other films I’ve directed for HPE.

The shot of the tractor near the end grounds the story, suggesting that advances in seemingly esoteric research ultimately serve our most down-to-earth pursuits.
